Baby box University에서 신청한 베이비박스 받아오기

Baby box University에서 신청한 베이비박스를 받으러 Southcenter Mall에 방문했다. Southcenter Mall은 처음 방문했는데 생각보다 규모가 있어 이것저것 구경도 하고 저녁도 먹고 왔다.입구에 들어가자마자 보이는 Escalator로 아래층으로 내려가면 Mall의 가운데에 Southcenter Lounge가 보인다.처음에 저곳을 보고도 어디로 가야하는지 몰라 여기저기 찾아다니다 사람들이 줄을 서있길래 앞쪽을 보니 Baby Box Pop Up!!오후 5시까지 받으러 가야한다고 홈페이지에 나와서 4시 50분쯤 도착했는데, 오후 5시~8시 사이에 배포 한다고 적혀있더라그런데 6시 이전에 베이비박스가 전부 동이나더라..주차장에 무슨 차가 그렇게 많은가 했더니 전부 베이비박스 받으러..

임산부를 위한 쇼핑(?)

결혼 한 뒤로 한번도 신발을 사준적이 없는데 이민 오면서 그나마 신던 신발들도 정리해서 굽이 낮은 신발이 없더라boxing day에 Chinook Centre도 가봤지만 비싸다고 아무것도 못사고 돌아왔는데..이러다 영영 못살듯 하여 큰맘먹고 신발구매한국에서도 항상 직구해서 신던 Rockport에서 더블 할인을 하는 참에 왕창 사버렸다.4켤레 $585.00에서 2중할인 받아서 $319.17에 구매 (Tax 포함)미국 Rockport는 종류도 많고 할인도 많이하는데 캐나다 Rockport는 종류도 적고 할인도 거의 안해서 아쉽다.그나마 40%에 1+50% 중복할인이 떠서 무리해서 양껏 구매.. 아내는 가계부를 보며 Cancel을 외쳤지만 이때 아니면 언제 사겠는가?캐나다가 반쪽짜리 사회주의 국가라 자본주의 ..

Best Beginning Group Program 방문

Best Beginning을 신청하고 Group Program에 참여할지 고민하다가 기대없이 방문했던 Food Bank를 생각하며 일단 한번 가보기로 결정방문한 날 담당 사회복지사 Shannon에게 아기 옷과 기저귀 선물을 받았다. (우측 핑크핑크)다른 임산부 5명과 함께 임산부를 위한 음식에 대한 강의를 듣고 마지막 게임에서 3등을 해서 가운데 회색 옷을 받아왔다!
